Raising Concerns or Complaints
At St Mary's Catholic Primary School, we place great importance on building positive relationships between home and school. From time to time, parents or others connected with the school may become aware of matters which cause them concern. We encourage such matters to be raised promptly and in a spirit of partnership, so that we can work together to seek a resolution.
As a Catholic school within the Diocese of Westminster, we are guided by the values of respect, reconciliation, and cooperation. Our approach to concerns and complaints reflects these values, and we ask that all parties enter the process with a willingness to listen, to understand, and to work constructively towards a fair outcome.
The Governing Body has adopted a Complaints Policy, based on Department for Education guidance and adapted to reflect our diocesan context. This policy is designed to encourage resolution at the earliest possible stage and to ensure that concerns are dealt with fairly, transparently, and with due care for all involved.
Full details of our procedure may be obtained from the school office or found in the policy section of our website under Key Information → Policies.
We thank all parents and carers for working with us positively and supportively, always with the best interests of the children at the heart of our school community.
