Governing Board Membership 2016

St Mary’s school governance is currently managed by a Governing Board, consisting of the following members:

Mr Frederick is the Chair of the Governing Board and the Chair of the Finance, Personnel, Premises and Pay (FPPP) Committee. He also serves on the Governing Board of two Catholic secondary schools in the Diocese of Westminster. Mr Frederick has declared that he is a Trustee of the All Saints Trust in Harrow and that he works for Capita Managed IT Solutions in another local authority. Mr Frederick is a Foundation Governor at St Mary’s, appointed by the Diocese of Westminster in September 2015. His current term of office will expire on 31 August 2019.

Mrs Brown was formerly an Assistant Headteacher of a very large secondary school.  Initially trained as an English specialist, she has many years of experience in the classroom, at Leadership level and as a school governor. Ms Brown has declared that she is a Trustee of the All Saints Trust in Harrow. Ms Brown is a Foundation Governor at St Mary’s, appointed by the Diocese of Westminster in September 2015. Her current term of office will expire on 31 August 2019.

Mr Prindiville has been Headteacher at St Gregory’s Catholic Science College in the London Borough of Brent since September 2008. In it’s most recent OFSTED Inspection, the school received an overall grade of good (with outstanding features); moreover, Inspectors graded the leadership and management of the school as outstanding. Mr Prindiville has declared that he is a Trustee of the All Saints Trust in Harrow. Mr Prindiville is a Foundation Governor at St Mary’s, appointed by the Diocese of Westminster in September 2015. His current term of office will expire on 31 August 2019.

Ms Y Wolde has been appointed to the Governing Board in the capacity as a Parent Governor.

All Governors may attend any official Governors’ meetings with all Governors expected to attend at least the Full Governing Board meetings which are usually held 3 times during the academic year. The current formal members of the FPPP Committee are Mr Frederick (Chair), Mrs Titus, Ms Brown and Mr Prindiville. The current formal members of the Curriculum Committee are Ms Maher (Chair), Mrs Titus and Ms Nowicka.
